Elite Hire in Coventry is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve our quality management system and lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys, and fishbone tools. The role focuses on managing customer complaints and supplier quality issues while preparing PPAP/FAI documentation for new parts.

You will run internal audits and support customer and certification audits, and use data and SPC to reduce scrap and rework. This is a hands-on manufacturing quality role in the UK.

Competenze

• Degree or HNC in an engineering subject, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a quality role in manufacturing.

Mansioni

• Maintain and improve our quality management system (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100).
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys and fishbone tools.
• Manage customer complaints and supplier quality issues.
• Prepare PPAP and FAI documentation for new parts.
• Run internal audits and support customer and certification audits.
• Use data and SPC to cut scrap and rework.
