The Role:
Maintain and improve the company's ISO9001, ISO13485 & ISO14001 certified Quality Management Systems.
Lead internal audits, supplier audits, and support external/customer audits.
Oversee PPAP submissions, reviewing samples and technical documentation.
Guide and support Quality Control teams to meet customer and dispatch requirements.
Investigate non-conformances and manage reporting through tools like 8D, FTA, and 4M.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure compliance with customer quality standards.
Mentor apprentices and junior team members to help develop future talent.
Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and product quality.
What You'll Bring:
Strong experience in a Quality Assurance role within engineering or manufacturing.
Audit qualifications or lead auditor training is an advantage.
Proficient in PPAP, including PFMEA, and confident using quality tools like 8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma.
A solid understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment with a proactive, can-do attitude.
This role will be primarily based at the company's Bedfordshire HQ, with regular visits to their nearby site.
