Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer with a background in manufacturing? I’d love to speak with you! We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Supplier Quality Engineer to join a global leader in aerospace and advanced technologies. You’ll play a critical role in driving supplier performance, ensuring quality standards, and supporting the wider operations and procurement teams.

Supplier Quality Engineer - Permanent

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives across aerospace manufacturing projects
2. Drive key supplier processes, audits, and root cause investigations
3. Ensure effective containment, corrective actions, and Zero Defect programme implementation
4. Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and source transfer programmes
5. Analyse nonconforming data and drive resolution strategies
6. Manage supplier development using APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and root cause tools

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Possess an aerospace quality background with working knowledge of AS9100, AS13100, AS9102 (beneficial)
• Experience in supplier audits and supplier development
• Proficient in APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Control Plans
• Confident in problem-solving, lean manufacturing, and using SAP systems
