Job summary

ABB UK is seeking a Quality role to support deployment of the quality strategy within a local organizational unit. The role focuses on prevention, continuous improvement, root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions to meet customer expectations.

You will collaborate with local functions, drive quality analytics, and hands-on problem solving to embed a strong quality culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving methodology and hands-on stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in supplier development, approvals and issue management.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and CAPA implementation.
• Ability to read drawings and complete PPAPs.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of the quality strategy for the local unit.
• Identify and address risks and opportunities related to quality management.
• Use quality data analytics to identify risks, failures and non-conformances.
• Facilitate resolution of customer cases via root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Hands-on approach to problem solving and embedding quality culture.
• Develop and manage suppliers to support the business.
