Job summary

Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems Limited is seeking a hands-on leader to head the UK Quality team. You will drive quality performance, manage complex customer issues, and own continuous improvement projects across the business to enhance customer satisfaction and overall performance.

You will work across departments to resolve problems, maintain the ISO 9001 framework, and lead supplier quality initiatives, leveraging your experience in manufacturing or engineering settings.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience leading quality activities within manufacturing, engineering or technical environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC and control plans.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and using measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the UK Quality team.
• Drive quality performance, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Manage complex customer complaints and quality investigations.
• Lead product-risk, containment and recall assessments.
• Maintain the Quality Management System and ISO 9001 certification.
• Analyse quality data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop supplier quality standards and drive issue resolution.
• Partner with customers, Sales, Technical and Operations teams to deliver effective solutions.
