Job summary

Winsearch is recruiting two Quality Engineers to join a divisional quality team supporting multiple manufacturing sites across the UK. The role offers long-term career development, structured training and progression within a well-established engineering organisation.

You will work with operations, suppliers and customers to maintain quality standards, drive improvements and support audits and quality processes across the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality engineering within manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Understanding of EN9100 / AS9100 is advantageous.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why and Ishikawa.
• Manage non-conforming products and quarantine controls.
• Support FAIR activities and APQP/PPAP processes.
• Review quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Support internal audit programmes and QMS compliance.
• Lead quality requirement reviews against customer specs.
• Support NPI projects from a quality perspective.
• Drive continuous improvement using quality KPIs.
