Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division in the UK is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to help run critical quality processes that keep operations reliable and safe. You will lead quality initiatives onsite, drive risk identification, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to protect product excellence.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will develop and implement quality standards, analyze data, and support CAPA actions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on deployment of quality culture with stakeholders.
• Experience in supplier development and managing supplier issues.
• Good working knowledge of ISO9001, audits and CAPA.
• Ability to develop and implement quality standards and procedures.
• Ability to read drawings and complete PPAPs.
• Passionate and engaged with engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support quality communication within area of responsibility.
• Identify and address risks and opportunities in quality management locally.
• Use quality analytics to identify risks, failures and non-conformances.
• Facilitate resolution of customer cases via root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Hands-on problem solving and promoting quality culture in the unit.
• Develop and manage suppliers to support the business.
