Job summary

GE Grid Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality and Compliance Engineer to join the North Europe Grid System Integration team. The role focuses on ensuring processes are current, fit for purpose, and rigorously applied across tender and project delivery.

You will conduct regular audits, update procedures, educate engineering teams, and capitalise on learnings from projects to drive continuous improvement, aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Qualifications

• First degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with large capital projects and project delivery activities.
• Familiarity with quality systems and process auditing.
• Experience creating and updating business processes and procedures.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities

• Undertake regular audits of process compliance across tenders and projects.
• Identify non-conformances and manage corrective actions.
• Update procedures to improve efficiency and ensure consistency.
• Develop new procedures and coordinate across engineering and other functions.
• Lead learning capture and communicate improvements from projects.
