Job summary

Clarke Energy Limited is seeking a Grid Compliance Engineer to ensure all projects meet grid code requirements and regulatory standards. You will work with internal teams, DNOs, TSOs and external stakeholders to deliver compliant grid connections, supervise studies, and help prepare technical documentation.

You will bring experience in grid compliance, UK grid codes (G99/G100), and a methodical approach with strong communication.

Qualifications

Experience in grid compliance within power/energy projects.
Understanding of UK grid codes and connection processes (G99/G100).
Ability to translate standards into engineering deliverables.
Strong communication with stakeholders at technical and non-technical levels.

Responsibilities

Ensure all designs and installations comply with grid codes and regulatory requirements.
Support grid connection applications and associated documentation.
Review and interpret grid compliance requirements for engineering deliverables.
Liaise with DNOs, TSOs and other stakeholders.
Coordinate grid compliance studies (load flow, fault level, protection).
Assist in preparing and reviewing technical documentation and test procedures.
Support commissioning activities including grid compliance testing and validation.
Identify and mitigate risks related to grid connection and compliance.
