Job summary

Clarke Energy is seeking a knowledgeable Grid Compliance Engineer to join our engineering team in the UK. You will ensure that projects meet grid code requirements and align with regulatory and technical standards, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

You will support connection applications (G99/G100), interpret grid compliance requirements, and contribute to technical documentation and testing.

Qualifications

Experience in grid compliance, power systems or electrical engineering.
Understanding of UK grid codes and connection processes (e.g. G99, G100).
Ability to interpret technical standards and apply them practically.

Responsibilities

Ensure designs and installations comply with grid codes and regulatory requirements.
Support grid connection applications and G99/G100 processes.
Review and interpret grid compliance requirements and translate into engineering deliverables.
Liaise with DNOs, TSOs and other stakeholders.
Coordinate grid compliance studies (load flow, fault level, protection).
Assist in preparation of technical docs, compliance reports and test procedures.
Support commissioning activities, including grid compliance testing and validation.
