Job summary

Nature’s Way Foods Ltd in Selsey is seeking a Quality Auditor to safeguard product safety and quality across our manufacturing sites. You will audit processes, ensure GMP compliance, close non-conformances and support continuous improvement.

The role operates a rotational day/night pattern, 14 days in a 28-day cycle, reporting to the QA Manager. You’ll engage cross-functionally to maintain specifications and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing QA and GMP-compliant auditing.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product safety and quality standards across lines.
• Audit site processes for GMP compliance and legality.
• Close non-conformances using root-cause analysis.
• Document checks, sampling and lab log entries.
• Prepare audit paperwork and keep records up to date.
• Support daily quality assessments and trending for teams.

Overview

Quality Auditor | Up to £29.350 base salary | Annual Profit Share Bonus | Selsey

Reporting into the QA Manager you will be responsible for Product Food Safety and Quality, systems, processes, procedures & GMP to ensure they comply with the set internal and customer requirements and specification, including auditing and closure of non-conformances.

We operate a rotational shift pattern covering both days and nights 7:00am–7:00pm. You will work a total of 14 days within a 28-day period. Typically, your working pattern will be as follows:

Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2 - Wednesday & Thursday

Keyresponsibilities

• Ensurethattheproductquality&safetystandardsaremaintainedatalltimesandthattheproductthatismanufacturedmeetsthecustomer’sspecificationandislegallycompliantinallaspects
• EnsurethatourfactoriesareauditreadyatalltimesandthestrictGMPstandardsaremaintainedthroughoutthemanufacturingsite.
• Conductscheduledauditingofsafety,legalityandGMPstandardsofthesite.
• Carryoutregulardocumentedchecksonallareasandlinesofmanufactureandpacking,includingpaperworkcheckstoensurecorrectcompletion.
• Carryoutvalidationandverificationofprocessesaccordingtoschedule.
• Monitorlinesduringproductionandreportanyissuesinrelationtoqualityorproductsafety.
• Carryoutsampling,checks,tests,swabbingandotherconformancerequirementsaccordingtorequiredschedules,includingloggingofsamplesintolaboratorysystem.
• Conductdocumentedinvestigationsandcloseoutnon-conformances,usingRootCauseAnalysis.
• Completerecordsandlogsforallactivitiesaccordingtoprocedure.
• Prepare,auditandfilepaperworkforlines&mixingroom.
• Setupandconductdailyqualityassessments,includingfeedbackandtrendingforoperationalteams.
• Control&documentationofOnHoldandothernon-conformingproducts.
• Pestcontrolcheckswhererequired.
