Job summary

Nature’s Way Foods is seeking a Quality Auditor in Chichester to ensure product quality and safety across the site. You will conduct regular audits, verify processes and maintain GMP standards while supporting production with documentation and investigations.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/auditing within food manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and food safety regulations.
• Auditing techniques and non-conformity investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality and safety standards are met and compliant with customer specs.
• Keep site audit-ready and maintain GMP standards across the site.
• Conduct scheduled audits of safety, legality and GMP standards.
• Perform documented checks on manufacture and packing areas.
• Validate and verify processes according to schedule.
• Monitor production lines and report quality or safety issues.
• Carry out sampling, tests, swabbing, and lab log entries.

Keyresponsibilities

• Ensurethattheproductquality&safetystandardsaremaintainedatalltimesandthattheproductthatismanufacturedmeetsthecustomer’sspecificationandislegallycompliantinallaspects
• EnsurethatourfactoriesareauditreadyatalltimesandthestrictGMPstandardsaremaintainedthroughoutthemanufacturingsite.
• Conductscheduledauditingofsafety,legalityandGMPstandardsofthesite.
• Carryoutregulardocumentedchecksonallareasandlinesofmanufactureandpacking,includingpaperworkcheckstoensurecorrectcompletion.
• Carryoutvalidationandverificationofprocessesaccordingtoschedule.
• Monitorlinesduringproductionandreportanyissuesinrelationtoqualityorproductsafety.
• Carryoutsampling,checks,tests,swabbingandotherconformancerequirementsaccordingtorequiredschedules,includingloggingofsamplesintolaboratorysystem.
• Conductdocumentedinvestigationsandcloseoutnon-conformances,usingRootCauseAnalysis.
• Completerecordsandlogsforallactivitiesaccordingtoprocedure.
• Prepare,auditandfilepaperworkforlines&mixingroom.
• Setupandconductdailyqualityassessments,includingfeedbackandtrendingforoperationalteams.
• Control&documentationofOnHoldandothernon-conformingproducts.
• Pestcontrolcheckswhererequired.
• Carryoutspecifiedprojects
