This is more than just a job, it’s a dynamic and rewarding journey. With over 500,000 customers travelling on our network each week, our Drivers play a vital role in delivering high-speed journeys that are safe, smooth and enjoyable, reaching speeds of up to 125mph.

As a Train Driver for Avanti West Coast, you will:

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ mainline driving experience (and past your post qualified period)




• A rock-solid commitment to safety and precision.




• The ability to makecool-headed decisions under pressure




• A proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Salary details:

• £66,273per annum (experienced Driver without core routes & traction)




• Rising to £76,786 per annum (fully qualified Driver with core routes and traction)




• Incremental increases in line with Driver terms and conditions, up to a maximum of £83,092per annum after 2 years
