Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a dedicated Secondary Teacher in Newcastle for a temporary role starting in September. You will deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and assess progress while contributing to the school community.

The role requires QTS, UK secondary teaching experience, excellent classroom management, strong subject knowledge, and an enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.

Salary: £180-£220 per day

The school is looking to appoint a qualified Secondary Teacher on a temporary basis from September. The successful Secondary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement, assessing student progress and contributing to the wider life of the school while working closely with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for students.

The successful Secondary Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching within a UK secondary school
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
• A positive, adaptable and proactive approach to teaching
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
