Qualified Social Worker, Safeguarding and Support Team

Pay rate £39 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work in a Safeguarding and Support Team in Blackburn.

Blackburn with Darwen Children's Services, recently rated 'Good' in its full ILACS Ofsted inspection, seeks 2 full-time experienced agency social workers for its Safeguarding and Support team. The role primarily involves conducting parenting assessments within pre-proceedings, with possible care proceedings work. One role is to start as soon as possible; the other in June/July.

Candidates must be fully compliant, ideally have complete references, a current enhanced DBS check, and SWE registration with no notations.

They must have access to a car daily and be willing to work in the office 3 days per week, plus be available for emergencies and service needs.

Caseload management competence is required.

Candidates should be proficient in IT and record-keeping; experience with Liquid Logic is advantageous but not essential.
