Job Title: Supervising Social Worker

Location:

Remote working, covering caseloads in the Thames Valley region, with occasional team meetings.

About the Role:

If you possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and can build positive relationships with foster parents and children’s social workers, we offer a rewarding opportunity. By the Bridge is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and forward-thinking Supervising Social Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to a caseload of 10 to 12 families.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure foster parents are informed, understand, and operate within regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with the therapy team and Education Advisors to support therapeutic parenting.
• Participate in occasional team meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Formal social work qualification.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in fostering sector and/or children/young people in social care.
• Valid driving license.
• Right to work in the UK.
