Location: Greater Manchester
Pay rate: £37 per hour

We are seeking experienced and passionate Social Workers to join our dedicated Children’s Children Looked After Team. This role involves home working and working within the local authority, with a focus on making a positive difference for children.

In accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, and guided by the values and principles of social care, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Your professional knowledge and experience will enable you to make assessments and decisions about appropriate interventions. Using your social work expertise and excellent communication skills, you will establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to meet their needs.

You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for children, striving to provide the best results through best practice. Most importantly, you will have a passion for supporting children and their families to thrive and flourish. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable and work efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experienced in working with children and families, including vulnerable groups
  • Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking
  • Knowledgeable of Child Protection legislation and issues
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement for better outcomes
  • Excellent mediation and negotiation skills
  • Skilled at building relationships with children and families
  • Committed to high-quality service
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary, interagency settings
  • Over 4 years qualified
Key Responsibilities:
