Job summary

Brevan Howard invites highly motivated undergraduates or early-stage masters/PhD students to join its Summer Internship Program in London. You’ll work with the Quantitative Investment Strategies group to build data pipelines, develop models, and create AI-powered tools that support portfolio managers and risk teams.

The program starts with intensive training on Financial Markets topics, Excel, Python, and AI tools, followed by talks, mentorship, and networking events designed to prepare top

Qualifications

• Penultimate year undergraduate, or 1st year MSc/PhD, to be completed by July 2028.
• Strong mathematical and quantitative capabilities with technical skills in Excel, VBA, R, AI/ML.
• Interest in financial markets, trading, and financial products.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines to extract and analyze data and develop models and trading signals.
• Integrate AI into analytical systems and build AI-powered tools using LLMs and agent workflows.
• Contribute to the core analytics library used across research, trading and risk management.
• Participate in one-week in-depth training covering Financial Markets topics and Python.
