Job summary

G-Research is offering a 10-week Summer Research Programme in London. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to explore data science in quantitative finance, applying Python, statistics and ML to real datasets.

We seek undergraduates, masters or PhD candidates in quantitative fields who can work independently, think critically and communicate effectively. Centrally located in London with supportive peer network and campus-style activities.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is a quantitative student with strong data skills and curiosity.
• Comfort applying statistical concepts to real-world data and datasets.
• Experience with Python for exploration, analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Apply data blending, statistical analysis and ML methods to research data.
• Assist in creating datasets and tooling for data science initiatives.
• Collaborate with data scientists and financial experts in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Support exploration and enrichment of data sources for research projects.
