Job summary

IMI plc is seeking a QA Workflow Supervisor to coordinate QA and QC planning across manufacturing. You will align inspection and documentation capacity with business plans, ensuring QA Administrators and QC Inspectors focus on quality activities without production pressure.

Key duties include acting as the planning liaison for QA/QC, organising lab and dye-pen work, and coordinating external and internal inspections to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating QA/QC planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication across multiple functions and teams.
• Ability to prioritise and balance competing demands with diplomacy.
• Knowledge of QA/QC documentation and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QA and QC teams to align with production planning requirements.
• Act as single point of contact for QA/QC planning and capacity needs.
• Organise and plan QC lab and dye-pen activities using BPM data and requests.
• Monitor and progress NCRs, feeding updates to planning and project teams.
• Arrange external inspections and internal PMI testing as required.
• Liaise with operations to ensure smooth pre-planned external witness inspections.
• Discuss overtime and capacity with QA/QC teams to meet business needs.
• Support continuous improvement projects from a planning perspective.
• Perform other duties commensurate with the post.
