Job summary

Stealth iT Consulting is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer (SDET) in the United Kingdom to design, build and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver. The role involves developing robust testing frameworks for functional, regression and integration testing and executing API tests with REST Assured or Postman.

You will collaborate with development teams to embed automated testing throughout the SDLC and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on Java programming experience.
• Proven use of Selenium WebDriver for automated UI testing.
• Experience developing or maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with JUnit, TestNG or Cucumber.
• API testing experience using REST Assured, Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Build and enhance automated testing frameworks for functional, regression and integration testing.
• Develop and execute automated API tests using REST Assured or Postman.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed automated testing in the SDLC.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Identify and document defects, working with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test strategies and continuous improvement.
