Job summary
Reed Talent Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer in the UK to build and own an automated testing capability integrated into the QA strategy. You will select tools, create automation scripts, and establish reporting to support project delivery.
The role requires experience in Selenium/automation tools, strong understanding of the SDLC, and ISTQB qualifications. Collaborative, agile teams and government-facing environments are expected.
Qualifications
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing, with the ability to plan, design, script and execute tests.
- ISTQB Advanced Level - Test Automation Engineer certification is desirable.
- Experience in full SDLC and Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels of stakeholders, technical and non-technical.
Responsibilities
- Set up an Automated Test capability aligning with the QA Strategy.
- Create and own automation processes and tool selection.
- Develop automated scripts and schedule/report test results.
- Support Agile teams with high-quality automated testing.
