Methods is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in Greater London. You will design, develop and maintain automated tests for APIs, user journeys and integrations across distributed services using Java-based tools.

• Hands-on QA automation focusing on Java-based tests for APIs, UI journeys and integrations.
• Ability to design, develop and maintain automated tests across distributed services.
• Experience with test frameworks and building reliable regression suites.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and maintain automated API, integration and end-to-end tests using Java, Serenity BDD, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver and REST Assured
• Contribute to reusable test components and maintainable automation frameworks
• Define testable acceptance criteria with stakeholders and balance risk with suitable test coverage
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and provide feedback
• Test asynchronous workflows, data persistence and downstream processing across services
• Investigate failures with logs, queries and pipeline results; triage defects to resolution
• Improve test suite reliability by addressing flaky tests and reducing duplication
• Turn production defects into repeatable regression scenarios
• Engage in exploratory testing and performance/security readiness alongside specialists
• Maintain test evidence in Jira/Zephyr linked to changes and releases
• Communicate testing progress and residual risks clearly to stakeholders
