Abound is seeking a Software Engineer to help us build high-quality backend systems that accelerate our mission in the UK fintech space. You'll own backend features end to end using Python, Django, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Postgres, and Google Cloud, collaborating with product and frontend teams to ship reliable, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have strong ownership, navigate ambiguity, and care about clean architecture, performance, and maintainability as we scale into new markets and

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with Python and Django.
• Experience designing/consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing and exposing GraphQL APIs.

Responsabilités

• Build and ship backend features using Python, Django, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Postgres and Google Cloud.
• Own backend work from concept through delivery, including design, implementation, testing, deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver features with cross-team dependencies.
• Work closely with frontend to shape user-facing and internal experiences.
