Rexel UK is seeking a proactive Renewables Solutions Designer to support our branch network by delivering PV and Solar BOMs, advising on product selection and the latest regulations. This hands-on commercial role has real impact, enabling growth in PV and Solar sales while ensuring compliant, cost-effective energy solutions for customers across commercial and industrial sectors.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of PV, battery storage, and renewable technologies.
• Ability to create accurate and commercially viable bills of materials.
• Understanding of solar system architecture and product applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into product solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and supplier configuration tools.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities effectively.

Aufgaben

• Produce PV and Solar bills of materials and quotations for branch teams and customers.
• Provide technical guidance on product selection, system components, and renewable energy solutions.
• Assist with identifying suitable PV, battery storage, mounting, inverter, and associated product solutions.
• Ensure recommendations align with current regulations, manufacturer requirements, and Rexel-approved product offerings.
• Assist branches with customer opportunities requiring technical product expertise.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, legislation, and market developments within the renewables sector.
