Rexel UK is seeking a hands-on Technical Designer to support the branch network in growing PV and Solar sales. You will provide technical guidance, create BOMs, and advise on latest regulations to customers and branches.

Key responsibilities include producing PV/BOMs, recommending suitable components, and staying updated on regulatory and market developments in renewables.

• Strong knowledge of PV, battery storage, and associated renewable technologies.
• Ability to create accurate and commercially viable bills of materials.
• Understanding of solar system architecture and product applications.

• Assist with identifying suitable PV, battery storage, mounting, inverter, and associated product solutions.
• Ensure recommendations align with current regulations, manufacturer requirements, and Rexel-approved product offerings.
• Assist branches with customer opportunities requiring technical product expertise.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, legislation, and market developments within the renewables sector.

Job Description

This is a hands-on commercial role with real impact: You will be supporting the branch network in growing PV and Solar sales by providing technical expertise, bill of materials (BOM) creation, product selection guidance and advice on the latest regulations to our branch network and customer base.
