Job summary

GOLDBECK SOLAR Gruppe in the United Kingdom seeks a Technical Asset Manager Photovoltaics & BESS to monitor and manage PV and battery energy storage assets across projects. You will coordinate service activities, support operational excellence, and ensure long-term performance and availability of systems.

The role requires a degree in electrical or energy engineering and experience in renewables or plant engineering is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a comparable field.
• Experience in photovoltaics, energy technology or plant engineering is an asset; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems and data technology is desirable.
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), monitoring and fault analysis is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, teamwork and a structured, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and manage assigned photovoltaic and battery energy storage (BESS) projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and contractual partners regarding technical and commercial matters.
• Plan, commission, and coordinate service technicians and external service providers.
• Oversee reporting activities and ensure optimal system performance and availability.
• Support project management activities for retrofitting, maintenance, repair, and repowering projects.
• Configure, commission, and maintain monitoring systems for PV and BESS assets.
