The role includes handling queries, reconciling statements, and supporting payment runs, with a strong emphasis on data entry, IT skills, and clear communication within a finance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable within a finance department.
• Strong, accurate data entry skills with high accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritise effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Registering, matching and posting purchase ledger invoices accurately and on time.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving omissions or discrepancies.
• Responding to supplier queries and coordinating with internal departments to resolve issues.
• Assisting with payment runs and ensuring supplier payment terms are met.
• Processing company credit card transactions and internal expense forms.
• Reporting to the Finance Manager on invoice processing status and issues.
