Job summary

Pratap Partnership Ltd, based in Chesterfield, is recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a forward-looking manufacturing business.

You will be responsible for processing haulage and overhead invoices, supplier form setup on Sage, and performing bank reconciliations within a small, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous Purchase Ledger experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Process haulage invoices for the group (All 5 sites).
• Process overhead invoices for the group (All 5 sites).
• Cover for material invoices across all sites as required.
• Send out new supplier forms and set them up on Sage with required due diligence.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Handle ad hoc duties as required.

Reporting to Financial Controller, duties will include:

• Processing haulage invoices for the group (All 5 sites).
• Processing overhead Invoices for the group (All 5 sites).
• Cover for material invoices (All 5 sites) as required.
• Sending out new supplier forms & setting them up on Sage along with the relevant due diligence that is required.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

The Person:

• Previous Purchase Ledger experience, in a fast paced, high volume environment is required.
• Good IT skills are essential.
• The ability to work in a small team with minimum supervision is essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
