Job summary

Confidential in Chesterfield is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a fast-paced manufacturing group. You will join a close, supportive team, reporting to the Financial Controller, handling supplier invoices across five sites and maintaining accurate records.

Key duties include processing haulage and overhead invoices, setting up new suppliers in Sage with due diligence, performing bank reconciliations, and covering material invoices as needed, plus other ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous Purchase Ledger experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Good IT skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process haulage invoices for the group (All 5 sites).
• Process overhead invoices for the group (All 5 sites).
• Cover for material invoices (All 5 sites) as required.
• Send out new supplier forms and set them up on Sage with required due diligence.
• Carry out bank reconciliations.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
