Porsche Retail Group is one of the world’s most iconic brands, seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant for their prestigious Head Office in Reading. The location offers amenities such as an onsite restaurant, coffee bar, parking, and proximity to shops including Ikea, Sainsbury's, Boots, and a Pure Gym. This role is for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 8 am and 6 pm. Please only apply if you can work these hours.

About the role

As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, your duties include supporting the Sales and Purchase Ledger Controllers, such as:

  • Processing warranties for all centres, including warranty clearing at month-end
  • Distributing BCA invoices to centres and allocating bank payments
  • Posting PCGB remittances upon receipt
  • Cover banking and cash sheets during absences
  • Providing ad hoc support for the Sales Ledger Controller
  • Posting PDI, Adyen, and ECOS VW invoices
  • Posting roadside and warranty invoices
  • Supporting Purchase Ledger Controllers as needed

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Capability to improve departmental efficiency through system optimization
