Job summary

Roundhay School is seeking a dedicated Restart Key Worker to support pupils who require time away from mainstream lessons due to significant behaviour concerns. You will provide calm, relational support to help pupils regulate behaviour and engage with learning, assisting their reintegration into the main school setting.

Working with the Restart and Reach College teams, pastoral and teaching staff, you will help pupils establish routines, build confidence and improve attendance where needed,

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting pupils with significant behaviour concerns.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Ability to collaborate with pastoral and teaching staff to support reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, calm and relational support to pupils requiring time away from mainstream lessons.
• Help pupils regulate behaviour and engage with learning.
• Support reintegration into mainstream education and development of positive routines.
• Losteral support to pupils hard to reach and improve attendance where needed.
