Job summary

Queensway School in Telford, part of the Learning Community Trust, is seeking an Enhanced Student Support Lead to provide safe, purposeful pastoral and academic support for pupils, including those on modified timetables or external placements.

You will coordinate reintegration, attend to attendance and welfare, and work across families, staff, and external professionals to secure planned return and ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have experience supporting children or young people, including those with complex or additional needs.
• Calm, resilient and highly organised professional with clear boundaries and strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-quality pastoral and academic support for pupils educated away from school site.
• Monitor attendance, welfare, safety, engagement and academic continuity.
• Coordinate learning materials, information, reviews and case records.
• Undertake planned visits to external provision and, where risk assessed, pupils' homes.
