Roundhay School is seeking a dedicated Restart Key Worker to support pupils who require time away from mainstream lessons due to significant behaviour concerns. You will provide calm, relational support to help pupils regulate behaviour and engage with learning, assisting their reintegration into the main school setting.

We are looking to recruit an inspirational and dedicated individual to support the effective operation of Restart, the school's internal inclusion provision, by providing consistent, calm and relational support to pupils who require time away from mainstream lessons due to significant or persistent behaviour concerns, serious incidents, or difficulties accessing school.
The Restart Key Worker will work closely with the Restart and Reach College team, pastoral staff, teaching staff, attendance team and wider school community to help pupils regulate their behaviour, engage with learning, develop positive relationships and successfully reintegrate into mainstream education. The role will also provide targeted support to pupils who are hard to reach or experiencing difficulties with school attendance, helping them to establish positive routines, build confidence and increase their engagement with school. The successful candidate will be willing to do 'whatever it takes' to ensure our pupils/students reach their full potential.
