Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Business Development Manager in Bridgend for a hybrid role. You will identify and win new IT-focused business, develop long-term relationships with clients, and convert prospects into recurring managed services customers.

Ideal candidates have 2-3+ years in IT sales, strong consultative selling skills, CRM experience and a full UK driving licence. The role offers a base salary of £45,000 with an OTE of £65,000 and uncapped commission.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' experience in Business Development or IT Sales.
• Proven track record of generating new business revenue.
• Experience selling Managed Services, Microsoft 365, Azure, Cyber Security, Cloud Solutions or IT Support Services.
• Strong consultative and solution-led selling skills.
• Experience working with CRM systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across SME and mid-market organisations.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Generate recurring revenue through Managed Services, Cyber Security, Cloud, Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace and Telecoms solutions.
• Conduct prospect meetings, discovery sessions and customer presentations.
• Develop strategic account plans for target organisations.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers, including Directors and IT Leaders.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
• Collaborate with marketing to maximise lead-generation activity.
