Job summary

Q in London is seeking an exceptional Solution Engineer to join our high-performing UK team focused on public sector opportunities. You will collaborate with Alliances, Sales, Marketing and Product to win strategic deals and design tailored solutions.

The role is hybrid with travel to client sites and London office at least twice weekly. You will own PoCs, run technical workshops, deliver product demos, and help turn customer challenges into value with our platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercially focused, hands-on technical role such as Solution Engineering, Presales, or Technical Consulting.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with customer engagement history.
• Proven UK public sector experience dealing with central government challenges.
• Experience leading PoCs or early implementation phases with workshops and demos.
• Ability to connect product functionality to business value in presentations.

Responsibilities

• Be a functional and technical expert in the company platform and products.
• Understand UK central government practices and how the platform helps operations.
• Present value of the platform and solve customer pain points.
• Represent the company at events, meetings, and webinars.
• Manage technical aspects of the sales cycle with Sales, Architects, and Product teams.
• Contribute to winning proposals and RFPs/RFIs.
• Own PoCs and trials aligned with customer objectives.
• Collaborate to design tailored solutions with partners and customers.
• Deliver engaging demonstrations in-person and remotely.
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover business and technical needs.
