Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in London, UK is seeking a Senior Solution Architect & Technology Consultant to join in hybrid mode.

Lead solution architecture initiatives for major clients, especially in Financial Services and Insurance, leveraging cloud, APIs and modern digital platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams, provide governance, develop architecture proposals, and support pre-sales with RFP responses, proofs of concept, and client workshops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience as a Senior/Lead Solution Architect with software engineering and digital transformation.
• Experience designing scalable solutions with focus on security, availability, resilience and low-latency.
• Industry consulting experience in Financial Services or Insurance.
• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) and modern integration patterns (microservices, REST APIs and event-driven).
• Pre-sales experience including RFP responses and proofs of concept.
• Ability to link technology choices to business value for large-scale transformations.
• Strong leadership and client-facing consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture from strategy to go-live across multiple sectors.
• Hands-on design, prototyping and integration of modern digital solutions.
• Provide architectural governance: reviews, roadmaps and audits.
• Create architecture proposals and PoCs; support RFP responses.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with multi-vendor teams.
• Represent EPAM at conferences and client workshops to boost visibility.
