Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Resource Planning Assistant to support Merseyside Police in a fast-paced environment on a temporary basis. The role is based in Merseyside with full-time hours (36.5 per week) and an hourly rate of £13.33.

Key duties include assisting in determining resource strengths, maintaining demand profiles, and administering staff rotas. The ideal candidate will understand resource allocation, have IT skills, and communicate effectively with teams and command staff.

Qualifications

• Understanding of resource allocation and work scheduling issues.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with resource management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Resource Planning Supervisor to determine resource strengths.
• Provide admin support when supervisor is absent.
• Maintain an up-to-date demand profile for effective personnel allocation.
• Administer Force rotas and communicate details to teams.
• Monitor staff working hours to comply with policy and regulations.
• Manage Duty Management System tasks, staff movements, and flexible working.
