Job summary

Cheshire Constabulary is seeking an HR Resourcing Assistant to support the Recruitment and Promotions Team with end-to-end administrative duties. You will manage candidate records, coordinate pre-employment checks, respond to queries, and maintain HR data with accuracy.

This role helps ensure timely recruitment processes and a positive candidate experience within a busy team at Force Headquarters, Winsford.

Job description

Are you an organised administrator with excellent customer service skills and an eye for detail? We're looking for an HR Resourcing Assistant to join our Recruitment and Promotions Team and help deliver a professional and efficient recruitment service across the Force. In this varied role, you'll provide administrative support throughout the recruitment and promotions process, including managing candidate records, coordinating pre-employment checks, responding to queries, supporting assessment and interview activities, and maintaining accurate HR systems and data. You'll also play a key role in ensuring deadlines are met and candidates receive a positive experience throughout their recruitment journey.

We're looking for someone who has:
  • A Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an HR, recruitment, or administrative support role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
