Job summary

Gallagher in Manchester is seeking a detail-oriented Client Service Administrator for Public Sector accounts. You will support day-to-day servicing, renewal coordination, and maintain accurate records, while building insurance knowledge.

You will work with insurers and internal teams, meet deadlines, and develop professionally towards Cert CII, with a collaborative, client-focused culture and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Desirable experience in insurance, financial services or client service.
• Willingness to develop technical insurance knowledge.
• Strong client service skills and professional approach.
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and timely, accurate work.
• Good organisation to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of Public Sector clients.
• Assist with renewal preparation and coordination, gathering underwriting information and insurer terms.
• Process mid-term adjustments and insurer correspondence; handle client requests.
• Communicate clearly with clients, insurers and colleagues; provide timely updates.
• Collaborate with peers and wider teams to deliver high-quality client service.
• Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation across systems.
• Identify and escalate potential compliance issues promptly.
• Manage workload, prioritising competing demands and deadlines.
• Develop technical knowledge through training and practical experience.
