Adecco is recruiting an HR Officer to support Devon and Cornwall Police, based at Crownhill/ Plymouth. The role is a full-time, temporary position with 37 hours per week and a £17.97 per hour rate, ending October 2027. The role requires UK residency for 3+ years and police vetting.

You will lead grievance cases, investigations, and HR advisory support for managers. Join the HR Delivery team handling employee relations for over 5,000 officers, staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR or employee relations and case management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grievance management from initial concerns to resolution.
• Conduct impartial investigations into employee relations matters and prepare reports.
• Provide professional HR advice to managers on workplace disputes.
• Collaborate with managers, trade unions and stakeholders on grievance meetings and appeals.
• Maintain accurate records and MI related to grievance cases.
