Job summary

Agilisys is seeking a Field Support Engineer to deliver high-quality IT support across the Sefton partnership. You’ll diagnose issues, provide on-site and remote help, and work with the Field Engineering Team Leader to uphold SLAs and service quality.

You will handle hardware troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, tablets and mobile devices while coordinating with suppliers and documenting technical details for continual service improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or field support roles.
• Experience troubleshooting laptop/desktop/tablet/mobile hardware.
• Clear communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face, telephone and on-site support across the contract.
• Provide hardware support and troubleshooting for devices.
• Own service delivery in line with SLAs and KPIs.
• Share knowledge and maintain technical documentation.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service quality.
