Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting, a UK-based award-winning SME, is seeking an experienced Content Designer to help restructure content for Applicants and Developers on a dedicated project.

The role aims to understand user needs, document requirements, design revised content within an appropriate architecture, and define a long-term strategy for ongoing content improvement and governance. You will work in an Agile environment with stakeholders across public sector clients.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Content Designer in multidisciplinary digital teams.
• Experience creating accessible, user-centred content.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Collaborates with stakeholders, product teams and developers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Familiar with CMS and version control tools.
• Experience in Agile environments and sprint activities.

Responsibilities

• Understand and benchmark current content against standards.
• Map and document user journeys with stakeholders.
• Document approach to designing, testing and deploying revised content.
• Capture stakeholder insights and user research to form design principles.
• Redesign content based on best practice and accessibility.
• Test revised content with users and stakeholders.
• Iterate content based on feedback and research findings.
• Develop content strategy and governance for future changes.
• Deliver a complete handover to internal teams.
