Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Public Sector Account Executive to drive pipeline and close strategic deals across UK government departments. You will engage senior leaders and technical practitioners to understand needs and position Elastic's Search AI, Observability, and Security capabilities to improve digital services and security.

You will work with solutions architects, partners, and customer success to expand Elastic's footprint and unlock data value for citizens, while

Qualifications

• 3+ years selling into UK public sector, ideally central government with focus on DWP.
• Hunter mentality with energy, resilience and drive to build pipeline.
• Curiosity and creativity for complex government data challenges.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and technical practitioners.
• Collaborative, cross‑team approach to sales in distributed environments.
• Structured, disciplined sales process with creative problem solving.
• Motivation to succeed in a fast‑moving, ambitious setting.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate and develop pipeline through multi‑channel prospecting.
• Identify opportunities across departments and build relationships with leaders.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand mission needs and data challenges.
• Position Elastic capabilities to improve digital services and security.
• Work with architects, partners, and customer success to address govt challenges.
• Expand Elastic footprint through land‑and‑expand motions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce.
• Collaborate across Elastic teams to deliver meaningful public sector outcomes.
