Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking a Regulatory Services Assistant to join our Public Protection Service. You will support the Commercial Protection and Environmental Protection Teams, handle a varied caseload, and contribute to keeping communities safe.

You will assist officers with inspections of local businesses, activities and residential premises, providing technical and administrative support to the service while developing your knowledge and skills in public protection.

Regulatory Services Assistant - WMF3190e

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join Westmorland and Furness Council as a Regulatory Services Assistant within our Public Protection Service. You will be focusing on supporting the work of the Commercial Protection and Environmental Protection Teams.

In this role you will help us to keep our communities safe through supporting the public protection service, assisting officers on appropriate inspections of local businesses, activities and residential premises and providing technical and administrative support for the service.

You’ll be joining a dedicated and experienced team where you will be managing your own caseload. Working in Public Protection at Westmorland and Furness Council is both varied and challenging; no two days are the same.
