Job summary

Marston's is seeking a Supervisor to join our pub team in the United Kingdom. You will lead a busy, fun environment, delivering consistent guest experiences while supporting the management team in running shifts and operations.

You’ll open and close, manage stock and cash, and act as a role model for excellent customer service. There are clear internal career pathways from Supervisor to Assistant Manager and beyond.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably.
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up.
• Be a role model for customer service.
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative.
• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver moments of joy for guests.
• Support the pub team to run shifts smoothly and efficiently.
• Open/close the pub, stock, and cash up as required.
• Set an example with outstanding customer service.
• Think quickly on your feet and take initiative.
• Be accountable for operations when senior managers are away.
