Greene King is recruiting a General Manager for one of our pubs in Ware, England. You’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and shape the guest journey from welcome to farewell, aiming to deliver consistently excellent experiences.

You’ll recruit and develop staff, manage costs and margins, uphold brand standards and safety, and build community ties through events and great food and drink. The role offers a clear path for progression within Greene King’s brands and a comprehensive rewards

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team development in hospitality.
• Strong understanding of P&L and cost controls.
• Commitment to brand standards and guest safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to grow pub sales with the management team.
• Recruit, train and develop staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Champion brand standards and ensure guest and team safety at all times.
• Drive customer satisfaction through quality service and atmosphere.
• Possess or be able to acquire a personal license if required.
