Job summary

Greene King is seeking a General Manager to lead a pub, drive sales, and develop a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for customers. You will model high standards, manage the team, and ensure the brand comes alive through daily leadership.

You will recruit and mentor staff, uphold operational excellence, and secure licensing where required to deliver memorable guest experiences. This role emphasizes people development and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Manager or similar role in hospitality or retail.
• Ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Strong understanding of brand standards, safety, and local licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Grow pub sales in collaboration with the business development manager and management team.
• Lead by example to bring the brand to life through your team and deliver amazing customer experiences.
• Recruit and develop your team to ensure staff have the knowledge to delight customers.
• Champion brand standards and ensure customer and team safety at all times.
• Be able to acquire a personal license if not already held.
