Job summary

Greene King is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy pub, drive sales, and create a welcoming guest experience. You will manage daily operations, coach your team, and ensure high standards of service from opening to closing.

You’ll need strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to obtain a personal license if not already held. Work with the local management team to develop staff, uphold brand standards, and foster a sense of community around the pub.

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage profitability.

Responsibilities

• Grow pub sales with the business development manager and management team.
• Lead by example and deliver memorable experiences for customers.
• Recruit and develop your team to ensure knowledge and service standards.
• Champion brand standards and ensure customer and team safety at all times.
• If needed, acquire a personal license to operate legally.
