Job summary

Tower Supply Ltd is seeking a part-time Year 3/4 teacher for a Blackpool primary school starting in October after half term. The role covers full days, four days a week (potentially three days by arrangement).

You will cover a Year 3/4 class with duties including delivering prepared lessons and maintaining positive classroom behavior. The position offers competitive weekly pay, flexibility to work across a range of local schools, and safeguarding training / DBS support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching in a primary or school setting is essential.
• Willingness to obtain or provide an Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality lessons to pupils in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Deliver lessons that have been prepared.
• Manage student behavior in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Provide feedback to students and the regular teacher on their progress and areas for improvement.

We are looking for a Teacher to cover a Year 3/4 class from September and potentially for the rest of the academic year in an very well run and popular primary school in Blackpool. This position is for full days 4 days a week. (could possibly be 3 days by arrangement)

• A current Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo a DBS check through ourselves
